YASMINA EL JAMAÏ

COMMUNICATION EXPERT

 

As a Certified Writer, Yasmina El Jamaï takes care of her clients'
mandates with regards to corporate communications, advertising,
Web writing and specialized texts for Web pages optimization, as well as public/media relations through Média & Rédaktica Pro: a business
she has been directing since May 2006.

 

Yasmina gives counseling and training to her clients in terms of communications and cares for the writing, research, editing and translation of their documents, with a constant care for the optimization
of their brand mark. She has acquired over 10 years of professional experience within public and private organizations as a regular employee and as a freelancer. She also offers professional voice over services in French for presentations, narrations, Web sites and much more!

 

Yasmina is a very strong writer who is able to draft texts on a variety of subjects, whether they deal with health, science, engineering, technology, business and law, to name a few sectors of activity. As a freelance journalist, then as the editor in chief of a francophone magazine, she published over 200 articles dealing with a vast array of themes for newspapers and other publications.
Yasmina’s strength is her ability to conceive texts dealing with any specialization after conducting efficient research on the subject

 

Yasmina is also a Media Relations specialist. She took charge of the public relations for the Promenade Ontario, to promote its 10th Christmas parade, of the Centre sportif Pilates
de Montréal, de la Semaine de l'Orientation et de l'Emploi de l’Université de Montréal, along with
three annual conferences for the Graham Spry Fund for Public Broadcasting. In 1998, she created a Web site for the Spry Fund that she has been updating ever since.

 

As a public affairs and media relations person, Yasmina has managed over 15 complex communications projects for the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada
in Ottawa, which required the collaboration of a wide variety of stakeholders from the public
and private sectors.

 

She has also coordinated over 20 events (annual conferences, press conferences, award ceremonies, etc.) targeting francophone and anglophone media.

 

Yasmina holds an undergraduate degree (B.A.) in Political Science from McGill University,
as well as a minor in Journalism and a Master’s degree in Communication Science from l’Université de Montréal. She is fully bilingual (French-English) and she has a good Spanish level.
